The Company

Abaco Cays Realty, Ltd. was born out of necessity.  We, the founders and principals of the new company,  have spent many years as Abaco manager and assistant manager of one of the largest Bahamian real estate firms.  We are both very successful and among the top producers in Abaco over a number of years. Our former company changed, the marketplace did not.  We are the same people in the same place, doing business as we always have, but with a new name.

The real estate business is all about service, The manner in which one services his clients, prospects and customers is vitally important to a company's or individual's success and survival.  In a small, closely knit market such as Abaco, service is doubly important.

When Derek Lee, first entered the real estate industry in 1996, there were seven realtors in Abaco at five different companies.  Today, eleven years later, there are sixty-six licensed brokers and salespeople at twenty-five different companies.  As we have watched the industry explode in Abaco, we have seen, not only our former company but many national companies enter the market place and become so concerned about the big picture, that they lose sight of the individual. 

We wish to renew our commitment to the individual and to provide a specialized and personal service to our clients and customers in the Abaco market.  We pledge to tailor each and every solution to the specific requirements of that situation and the property and people involved.  We want to be creative.

As a company, and personally, we will try absolutely anything to bring a situation or transaction to a successful and timely conclusion,  provided whatever we do is legal, ethical, fair and doesn't hurt anyone's feelings.

The time has come to bring fun back into the real estate business.
