Christopher B. Albury is an Estate Agent and a member of the founding team of Abaco Cays Realty, Ltd. After two years in the real estate business, he decided to join this new and dynamic firm upon its creation in 2006. While he covers all of Abaco, he specializes in the areas of Man-O-War and Great Guana Cay.
Chris is a native of Man-O-War Cay.
Born in 1977 to Bahamian parents, he grew up literally on the waters of The Sea of Abaco. Chris, together with his brother Tommy, owns and manages the Marina at Man-O-War which has become a much loved "oasis" for residents and visitors alike.
Chris' training in real estate is very much a "hands on" one Ð his father, a local developer and businessman, oversaw the sale, construction and management of some of Abaco's premier properties. Chris was actively involved in his father's company, which allowed him to be involved with every aspect of real estate development. He currently serves as a community representative on the island's District Council, which gives him a useful insight into the processes of the Local Government.
Chris became a licensed real estate agent in 2005, bringing to H.G. Christie his unique blend of experience and charm.
Chris has been professionally trained in International Maritime Safety and Sea-keeping and currently holds a "Class B" Master's License issued by The Bahamas under The I.S.T. C.W. (International Standards for Training, Certification and Watchkeeping). Since he was a child, Chris has been plying the waters of Abaco in everything from a Man-O-War dinghy to some of the most advanced craft on the water today, including various ferry boats, sailing yachts, sportfishers and cruisers.
His extensive knowledge of these Islands and the waters that surround them is not limited to their geography. Chris understands and appreciates those subtle cultural differences that make each island as unique as the people that inhabit them.
