Faron S. Sawyer is an estate agent and a member of the founding team of Abaco Cays Realty, Ltd. After four years in the realestate business, he decided to join this new and dynamic firm upon its
creation in 2006.
Born in Snake Cay, Abaco and educated in Spring City at the Abaco Central High School, Faron spent
almost all of his life in and around Abaco.
After school days he worked at Golden Harvest, a local supermarket. After finishing school, he went to work for Frederick's Agency, an Abaco customs broker for three years. In 1979, he spent three months living in Nassau studying for his own Customs Brokerage License. Upon his brokerage
license, Faron opened his own customs brokerage firm, Arawak Agency.
In the early 1980's, Faron spent some time in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he received his Aircraft Pilot's License. He worked holidays and weekends for Abaco Air for several years and in 1987 opened
his own aircraft charter company, Cherokee Air.
He has always been involved in community service and currently serves as a volunteer Police Officer.
Faron is married to Claudia Sawyer. They will celebrate their twenty-seventy wedding anniversary in June of 2007. Claudia has worked for Arawak Agency and Cherokee Air since their marriage. They
have two daughters; Alicia and Ariel.
Faron's personal interests include: diving, swimming and flying.
