About Treasure Cay
Treasure Cay is the modern model of the Abacos. Although one end of the island was originally settled by Loyalists as most of the Abacos were, that settlement was wiped out by a hurricane and the Treasure Cay of today looks more like a resort and residential community designed by suburban architects and planners. Low rises dot the landscape. Its spectacular seven-mile powder soft white sand beach inevitably makes the world’s best beaches list. And its 18-hole Dick Wilson designed championship golf course has been rated the best in The Bahamas by Golf Digest at various times. Treasure Cay is one of two islands in the Abacos to have its own international airport, the other being Marsh Harbour. There are numerous options for rentals and property values, which had taken a dip as properties aged, are now on the rise, creating an excellent buyer’s market at this time.
